A valid passport is required to travel on a Therapy Abroad program and must be valid for at least six months after your scheduled return date. It is your responsibility to bring your passport to the airport.
Replacing a passport is expensive and incredibly inconvenient. Losing a passport can mean that you miss your entire trip. Please be very careful with your passport.
U.S. and Canadian citizens traveling to Belize, Thailand, and The Dominican Republic do not need to obtain a visa prior to arrival. A free 30-day tourist visa is available at the airport. If you are a citizen of another country, it is your responsibility to check the entry requirements and ensure that you can enter the country without a pre-arranged visa. If a pre-arranged visa is required, you must obtain one before your departure date. Please feel free to call us if you have questions. Therapy Abroad is not responsible for travel delays or cancellations due to invalid travel documents.
Have a green card? If you are a permanent resident of the United States, you will need to bring your Permanent Resident Card (green card) on your trip. Please include a copy of your green card with a copy of your passport wherever a copy of your passport is required.
Of all the paths you take in life, make sure that a few of them are dirt.
