Dr. Cleveland earned her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Alabama in 2010 and completed her PhD at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2020. With over 15 years of experience working with people with disabilities, including 8 years specializing in fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), she has dedicated her career to fostering awareness and collaboration in neurodevelopmental disorders, honoring lived experiences, working with individuals and families, improving diagnostic practices, and training the next generation of providers in patient- and family-centered care.
Her personal experience as a sibling of an individual with a disability brings a “real-life” perspective to her clinical practice. She has presented locally, nationally, and internationally on FASD and has been featured in 501 Life Magazine for her impactful work
