Elizabeth Cleveland is the Associate Director at the University of Arkansas Partners for Inclusive Communities. After she became a speech-language pathologist, she worked with children from ages 3-18 and now specializes in children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Elizabeth’s research interests fall within two areas: 1) executive functioning in individuals with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) and 2) diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in university programs. She directs the only FASD diagnostic clinic in the state of Arkansas and has presented regionally, nationally, and internationally on the topics of FASD diagnosis and intervention. In addition to her own presentations, She has also mentored many student presentations at both state and national levels. Elizabeth is also the Director of Training for the Arkansas Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (AR LEND) program which trains future disability advocates from a variety of fields. Elizabeth enjoys interprofessional collaboration and advocating for individuals with disabilities. In her spare time, Elizabeth likes playing with her two children, spending time with her husband, and traveling.
