Jennifer Tapley, CCC-SLP

Jennifer has been a school-based SLP for 14 years. She received her undergraduate degree at Northern Arizona University in Electronic Media and after working in the broadcast/news field for several years, she decided to go back to school to earn her MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University in partnership with the University of Alaska Anchorage while living in Alaska. In addition to helping children communicate and be able to work collaboratively with amazing people in the educational setting, she loves the work-life balance that being an SLP has afforded her.  She has the opportunity to work with preschool – 8th-grade students and is passionate about supporting future SLPs. Jennifer has supervised several graduate-level students for their school-based rotations and also supervises SLPAs in the home health setting. In her free time, Jennifer loves traveling and is always planning her next adventure. She also loves going to concerts, attempting to garden, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and kitties in beautiful Arizona.
